Japanese Bunker - Saipan

It may not look like it, but what you see are the almost untouched remnants of a WWII Japanese cave on the island of Saipan. Inside, we discovered American and Japanese shell casings, broken sake bottles, Japanese "Jika Tabi" type shoes, gas mask canisters, fragments from detonated U.S. grenades, and human bones.

It's one of the most sombre experiences of my life.
